Isn't it great when things go wrong? I'm just working on a new track, and there are two starting points inspiring me most.
Firstly, there's another track which we burned to CD to listen back, but because it was in the 'wrong' file format it got totally screwed up - beyond all recognition. It mainly sounds like noise, but there are some interesting bits which I'm looking at using in the new track.
Secondly, I picked up a cheap set of CDs yesterday in the 'reduced to clear' pile at Waterstones. The CDs happen to be a talking book on Buddhism, but the last CD of 4 is split near the centre so didn't transfer properly into iTunes - It's extremely 'skippy' and definitely worth playing with as one of the sounds to start building with . . .
Maybe you'll hear the finished results at some point! :-)
